Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair II
I've posted a full review on this here so I won't waffle on too much about this, but I highly recommend you all picking up a little bottle of this. It is very pricey (around £58 I believe) but I can't function without ANR in my routine. For those of you who haven't heard of the Advanced Night Repair serum (have you been living under a rock?), it's basically a treatment that you apply pre-moisturiser on an evening. ANR has been described by many as sleep in a bottle, as we all know how our skin looks after a terrible nights sleep. The treatment aims to restore and repair the skin from the day's environmental damage, with key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid in there to maximise the skin's hydration levels. Many associate this as an anti ageing treatment, but how wrong they are. I find that this is key in inducing radiance to my skin after just one use. Not only that, but there's a significant reduction of any breakouts I may be suffering.
Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner
Again, there's a full review on this lovely little toner here. This is a lovely exfoliating toner that I just know will sort my skin out when it's feeling problematic. The exfoliation comes from the fruit acids that gently buff away any dead skin cells and claim to tighten pores. I found that when I came home from holiday last month my skin was dry and congested, but with a sweep of this on a cotton pad I had instant results of smooth skin. Including this in my routine every other day has really helped keep my skin balanced and prevent any breakouts from cropping up. I'd always recommend adding in a chemical exfoliant into your routine, you'll really see some results.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
Last, but by no means least, we have a miracle in a tube. I was at my whits end a couple of weeks ago, though the other two above were keeping my breakouts at bay there wasn't anything that would get rid of the tiny little spots on my jawline. That is, until this came into my life. I'd heard that the Effaclar Duo was quite good at banishing spots and at around £13 it wasn't about to break the bank, so in my basket it went. Around a month later, I am completely spot free. No joke, the tiny little mounds of spots cropping up on my face have packed their bags and left - and it's all down to this tube. I noticed a difference after the first use when the majority of the blemishes on my face had gone, then a mere four days later I was once again back to my normal spot-free skin. I like apply this like a serum, pre-moisturiser on both am and pm, a tiny dollop either all over the face or just on targeted areas dependant on how dry your skin is. For me, it was a non-drying lovely little serum that I will most definitely be repurchasing if I run out. It solved my congested skin issues and in combination with the other two truly worked wonders.
If I use all of the products above, you can guarantee my skin will be practically glowing with radiance the next day. I can see a visible difference after the first use of this trio, and would highly recommend you pick up at least one of these lovely products.
