|Soap and Glory Hand Dream, Nars Radiance Enhancing Pro Prime, Caudalie Beauty Elixir, Mac RiRi Woo Lipstick|
Now the weather's starting to cool down a lot my dry hands are definitely suffering; I started the week with dry and flakey knuckles that nothing seemed to cure. So in a moment of madness during a university lunch break (these lunch breaks really are going to bankrupt me), I picked up this new hand cream by Soap and Glory: Hand Dream. I had high hopes on this, with it being a Soap and Glory product, and I definitely haven't been disappointed. It contains AHA's that successfully buffed away any dead and flakey skin from my knuckles, and it smells incredible. What more could you want?
On to my face, I picked up Nars' Radiance Enhancing Pro Prime last week (link to post - here) and have been loving using this as a primer/highlight. At the moment my skin is a touch too oily around the nose so nothing is lasting that extra mile foundation-wise at the moment, but when I use this as a primer it adds this gorgeous glow to my skin - as though I'm sort of lit-from-within. I like to sandwich my base together with this to really add a 'pop' of shimmer, by that I mean primer then foundation then dabbing primer on the cheekbones as a highlight. The effect is lovely if I say so myself. I also picked up the Caudalie Beauty Elixir in a Feel Unique order a few weeks ago just to test the hype out and I have to say, this week it has been saving my skin. It smells like mint which some people hate but I find refreshing and it injects a good pump of radiance into my skin. Believe the hype.
Finally we have a new release this week in the form of Mac's RiRi Woo Lipstick. I was lucky enough, or quick enough depending on how you look at it, to nab one of these back in June when they came available for a limited time and I fully embraced using this last week. I'm slightly gutted I don't have the fancy packaging (how pretty is it though?), but I refuse to buy another tube just for that reason. Strangely I love the smell of this lipstick, it has that delicious vanilla Mac scent that I can't get enough of. But more than that, this lasts all day/night on my lips. It is a true red colour and also a true matte formula and I love it. Get yourselves to a Mac counter and get one if you can!
What have you been loving this week?
