Stila Convertible Colour Lip & Cheek Cream.

Stila is a brand I've been wanting to test out for what feels like forever. But for some reason, I've never taken that plunge before. The Convertible Colour Lip & Cheek Creams have been doing the rounds on the blogosphere for yonks now, and I've always wanted to see what the hype was all about. So when Marks and Spencer added Stila to the long list of brands in their beauty hall, me being me just had to take a trip to the counter. It was a toss up between Gerbera (pictured) or Fuchsia, but being the more pigmented of the two, it was Gerbera that made it's way home with me.

Let me start by saying that these cream blushes are by far the creamiest I've ever come across. They trump my Bourjois one by a mile, yet don't slip and slide off of the face. I haven't truly tested their lasting power yet, but this little beauty is making it's debut on my face tonight when I go for drinks with the girls so we will see if it lasts until the early hours. As for the shade, who doesn't love a pale peach-pink? It complements us pale ones beautifully without looking too 'in your face'.

I'm so excited to finally have this in my stocks, but even more happy that Marks and Spencers are currently having a 20% off beauty event both online and in store at the moment. I managed to get this for £12(!) rather than the usual £16, so if you really fancy trying this out then now would be the time ladies. Unfortunately, the infamous In the Light palette has been snapped up both online and in store otherwise you'd have seen an even longer raving post (those shadows pack some serious pigment!).

  1. I've heard so much about these too, and that they're one of the rare cream blushes that actually work WELL on both lips and cheeks! Gerbera would be my pick too - such a pretty shade!

  2. I've heard so much about these but like yourself i've never took the plunge although that Marks offer does sound appealing. I do wonder how these hold up on oily skin I usually like a cream to powder formula but these sound a little more on the dewy side hmm x

    1. It works really well on my normal-dry skin, I wouldn't say it was too slippery on the skin at all so I'd highly recommend trying it out x

  3. Ah - the stila convertible colours. I've wanted one of these since before I started blogging but I never took the plunge. I think I kept being confused and mesmerized by all the shades to choose from...x

  4. Wow, that's a great deal whilst M&S are having 20% off. My local Boots stock Stila too and I have almost £30 on my advantage card, so very tempted!
